Norway occupies the western side of the Scandinavian peninsula with an extremely long coastline.  The Arctic Ocean is to the north, the Norwegian Sea, a part of the Atlantic Ocean is the the west, The North Sea to the south and Finland, Sweden and a short border with Russia to the east.
